Jose is a respected attorney with expertise in a wide range of legal areas, including class actions, civil and commercial litigation, bankruptcy, amparo law, and constitutional litigation. Since April 2023, he has been a Partner at GLZ Abogados.
Previously, he worked as Counsel at White & Case LLP, focusing on litigation practices. During this time, he gained extensive experience in high-impact litigation in civil liability, class actions, corporate law and commercial matters. Jose has successfully advised domestic and international clients in a variety of legal procedures, including the recovery of credits and the design of strategies to protect their rights.
Jose is an active member of several legal associations in Mexico, including Abogadas MX, the Mexican Bar Association and ANADE. He has contributed to academic publications, including his bachelor thesis entitled “Corporate Veil: Judicial Resource”.
José has a Master's Degree in Financial Law Institutions from the Universidad Panamericana, as well as a Diploma in Money Laundering Prevention and Terrorist Financing from the same institution, as well as a Diploma in Negotiation awarded by the IPADE Business School.
