Prior to his association with GLZ Abogados, David accumulated valuable experience in some of the most prominent law firms in Mexico City. At Becerra Pocorroba, S.C., he specialized in administrative sanctioning, regulatory and real estate law matters, covering both consulting and litigation. Later, he joined the Spanish firm Cremades y Calvo Sotelo, S.C., where he focused on tax litigation, the prevention of money laundering and the prevention of simulated operations.
David has extensive experience in disputes related to urban development, land planning and the promotion of real estate development, before various state and federal authorities, including the Federal Court of Administrative Justice, the Administrative Justice Court of Mexico City, as well as higher judicial bodies such as the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation and District Courts.
Its clients include notable companies such as Kansas City, Grupo Salinas, Iusacell and Comex, as well as several real estate companies and construction companies. He has provided consulting advice on urban development for the promotion of real estate projects and has represented clients in litigation for suspensions and closures related to land use.
In addition, David has participated in consulting and litigation before various regulatory bodies, such as the Secretariat of Civil Protection, COFEPRIS, IFETEL, CONDUSEF and CONADE, among others.
David has completed academic programs on contract law and moral justice at Harvard University, as well as on tax compliance at Arizona State University. In addition, he obtained a diploma in Money Laundering Prevention from the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM).
