On July 5, 2024, the Official Gazette of the Federation published the AGREEMENT announcing the days of the year 2024 considered to be non-working for the purposes of the administrative acts and procedures substantiated by the Secretariat of Labor and Social Security (STPS).
As recognized in labor regulations, it is up to the STPS to establish and substantiate administrative procedures, as well as those for labor inspection, surveillance and the imposition of sanctions.
For this reason, and in compliance with the provisions of the Federal Administrative Procedure Act, for the purposes of administrative acts and procedures, as well as the inspection procedures carried out in the exercise of their powers by the General Directorate of Legal Affairs, the General Directorate of Federal Labor Inspection, Regional Coordination Directorates and Federal Labor Representative Offices in federal entities, the following days will be considered non-working days:
· From 15 Al 31 of July of 2024.
· From 13 Al 31 of December of 2024.
During these periods, the corresponding deadlines and terms will not be counted in the establishment and substantiation of administrative procedures, with the exception of those related to the renewal of Registrations of Specialized Service Providers or Specialized Works.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, it should be considered that the days and hours that are necessary may be enabled to give attention to matters whose urgency and relevance merit it, at the discretion of the head of the corresponding Administrative Unit.
